Beside the new collections, food played an important role at some fashion shows. At Malaikaraiss there was delicious ice cream from Jones Berlin and Lala Berlin presented their Spring/summer 2016 collection during an outdoor dinner.

Fashion! Turn to the left. Fashion! Turn to the right. It’s busy busy Fashion Week time. Here’s a little Instagram diary from Berlin Fashion Week. 

What I wore: faux fur from Asos (it’s cold in Berlin in January), my Acne Pop jeans, Chanel Boy bag and Topshop wedge boots.

Great new place: “The Store” at Soho House. When you’re in Berlin, check it out! Exciting selection of designer labels, beauty products and furniture, a beauty parlour and – my favourite – a restaurant that serves vegan and raw food and other healthy treats. I loved the pre-opening party.

Beautiful: fairy-tale wedding dresses from Kaviar Gauche and a little succulent garden at a fashion presentation.

Green cold-pressed juice from Daluma (another superfood place) in the H&M Sports showroom. What I wore: a leather jacket by BLK DNM, Isabel Marant dress and “Type 22″ boots by Adieu.  

Nice look by the young German fashion designer Malaika Raiss (always a sucker for knits and silky skirts).

What I wore: T-Shirt by Être Cécile, leather trousers by BLK DNM, camel coat by The Kooples, holographic clutch bag by Marc Cain. 

Next winter I’ll have to get this pink V-neck jumper by Stine Goya (I love that breast pocket so much)!  

I don’t know where to start, you were a great year, 2014. I travelled quite a bit – several times to both Gothenburg and London, to Stockholm for Fashion Week, Berlin, Munich and the likes, to Rome, Sardinia, I did a two-day bike trip with my family in the North of Germany – I started a new job, got to spend time with people I love, got to meet people I admire, and made new friends.

There are many moments which I will always look back to with a smile. Among them: celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday with him in London’s “Edition Hotel”, running around Berlin Fashion Week with my colleague Lisa and a video camera (and generally every day spent in the office with her), getting a surprise dinner for my birthday from my friends, celebrating Midsommar in Sweden with my family, biking around the woods and the coast with them, summer in the city, so much fun with my Dinogang-girls, interviewing Garance Doré, spending Stockholm Fashion Week with Katharina, exploring Rome with my mother and secluded bays and local food on Sardinia with my boyfriend, planning new projects, and – as every year – coming home for Christmas. 

Now I am excited for 2015! I have a feeling it is going to be a good year. Happy New Year to you!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Well, the weather sadly isn’t yet (I’m one of these dreamers who is always hoping for snow before Christmas), but everything else is. 

I am wearing big knits and faux-fur coats (no December without knitted jumpers), I have decorated my home for the season and have already been to early Christmas dinners. 

Last week I really got into the Christmas spirit when visiting Liseberg park in Gothenburg with my family. I loved the abundance of kitschy Christmas lights and the Swedish Christmas market (there were reindeers!). For more information about the above photos visit my Instagram.

Lately on my Instagram account: feel in love with the crystals over at @crystaltonic, tried a new restaurant in town, found new love (again) at Zara, still fig season (it’s always Vogue-season), heavy metal, and a sartorial blue phase. 

Sorry it’s been so quiet over here lately. It seems like I have either too much work to do or it feels too hot to do anything – or both. So here’s a little Instagram diary – that’s the least I can do, isn’t it. Thank you, The Locals, for the little streetstyle snapshot from Berlin Fashion Week. It’s my birthday today and I’m enjoying a long weekend (I turned Monday into a holiday). The birthday weekend started with seeing the Modfather Paul Weller live on Friday. Now I’m soaking in tons of peonies (my favourite flowers) and some sunshine. See you later!

You may have seen it on Instagram already, but I felt I needed to give you an update on the last weeks’ highlights. So here’s a little visual diary: I went to Munich and admired the Saint Laurent store – sadly work duties did not leave any time to actually go inside. But instead I payed the Hermès showroom (and some beautiful Bandana scarves) a visit. When I came “home” to my hotel room late in the evening, there was a nice surprise waiting: Macarons (which made for a good midnight feast). This week I had the pleasure of going to London for a day, I strolled around Mayfair, Soho, Liberty and Selfridges and I checked out the fairly new Isabel Marant boutique, which is absolutely beautiful! After a hectic week, this weekend is all about recreation: macha tea, raw chocolate, magazines, cake and coffee. I’ll tell you more about the newest additions to my wardrobe soon (cues: Acne jeans, perfect pumps, new sunnies).

I’m sure you’ve heard: this Thursday, the new, very spacious and very beautiful Chanel boutique opened in Hamburg. Chanel-fanatic that I am I didn’t miss the chance to visit the store on its first day (my credit card will take it amiss – of course, I fell in love with several new gems in the store! … did you know that Chanel does iPhone charms?! I love the kitschy little Russian doll.). Beyond that, spring came to Hamburg for one day (Thursday, it was, too), the cherry blossoms looked very pretty and I had ice cream in my lunch break. What else? My Iro biker gilet, which I had bought at Vestiaire Collective, arrived! I learned that even toothpaste can look pleasing (when it comes from Marvis). And I watched “The Grand Budapest Hotel” in the cinema, which I absolutely loved! Looking forward to the weekend.
