I was invited to the most idyllic and lovely summer wedding in Bavaria last weekend. The party lasted for almost three days and the bridal couple and their families were the best hosts.

It was surprisingly hot in southern Germany (I guess you feel the closeness to Italy there) and with temperatures in the upper 30°C I felt slightly sorry for the male wedding guests in their suits. But then again, women more often freeze in their dresses during summer weddings in Germany … so I guess, it was poetic justice.
