I have always loved plaid, double-breasted wool blazers – classically cut, based on men’s tailoring. They have a touch of heritage but nonetheless they are timeless pieces that can look so cool with leather trousers or skinny jeans. In the past seasons Stella McCartney and Saint Laurent made the perfect, yet sadly not quite affordable versions.

This season good news come from the North. By Malene Birger has created a brilliant key piece for autumn/winter 2015. It’s called “Brioni” and will be in stores this month. I think it would look amazing styled with a silk dress and (combat) boots, too. But for my first fitting I went for a classic jeans and T-Shirt look.
